Upon determination that any vehicular access to any structure or parking area does not meet the requirements of this chapter, the building director shall, by written notice mailed, postage prepaid, to the owner or owners of the parcel, advise the same of the nature of the deficiency and notify the same that unless the violation of this section is corrected within thirty calendar days, action pursuant to Section 15.04.170 of this title shall be commenced. Abandonment of any such access, to the satisfaction of the building director, shall be deemed a correction of the deficiency provided other legal access meeting the requirements of this section is available.
