No person shall discharge, or cause to be discharged, any industrial wastewaters directly or indirectly to the city’s stormwater collection systems, surface canals or any waterway within the city. Stormwater runoff from industrial sites, not including industrial wastewater, may be discharged into the city’s stormwater collection system, surface canals or any other waterway included in the city’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) May 17, 1992 application only after filing proper “Notice of Intent” and complying with other permit requirements of the state’s General Industrial Storm Water Permit.
