“Junkyard” means the use of more than four hundred square feet of the area of any lot, whether inside or outside a building, or the use of any portion of that half of any lot that joins any public street, for the storage, keeping or abandonment of worn or discarded articles; salvageable waste such as paper, glass, wood, or metal; and dismantled or wrecked vehicles, whether self-propelled or not, and their parts.
