“Temporary promotional activity” means an activity such as an arts and/or crafts sale, petting zoo, carnival, amusement ride or rides, or similar activity conducted on the premises of an existing business or shopping center, with the permission of and to promote such business or shopping center, for a period of time not to exceed five consecutive days or ten days in any calendar year.
