A. A charge set by the city council for discarded materials management services shall be a civil debt owing to the city from the owner and/or occupant of the property.

B. Any service user and/or property owner who fails or refuses to pay such charges shall be subject to a penalty as set forth in the general penalty provision, Section 1.40.010.

C. Said additional charges shall be applicable only in the event that it becomes necessary for the city to commence legal action to collect the charge. (Ord. 5076 § 4, 2022; Ord. 3939 § 2, 1999; Ord. 3605 § 1, 1994)
