8.08.020 Pasteurization required—Exceptions.
This section is included in your selections.
A. All milk or cream sold, served, offered, or exposed for sale, or delivered for human consumption, within the city, shall be pasteurized.
B. The provisions of this section shall not apply to:
1. Certified milk or cream;
2. The delivery and sale of raw milk to wholesalers or to pasteurization plants for the purpose of being pasteurized;
3. The production for sale or other distribution of milk by any person owning or maintaining less than three cows or seven goats in lactation for use or consumption by said person or any member of his or her household. (Prior code § 8.40.010)
