Any animal owner of a dog that bites any person and any person bitten by such dog shall immediately report the same to the animal control unit, who shall place such dog under quarantine for ten days or as required by state law. Such regulations or quarantine may be had at the home of the animal owner or at such other place as may be designated by animal control.
