A. Every person desiring an establishment permit under this chapter shall complete and submit to the Bakersfield police department a written application in a form approved by the chief of police or designee along with the required fee.

B. Any establishment permit issued under this chapter shall be valid for two years from the date of issuance unless revoked or suspended. Existing establishment permits shall continue in effect until the anniversary date of issuance of the existing permit at which date a renewal shall be required in accordance with this section.
