Fire department employees assigned on a twenty-four-hour duty shift basis shall be allowed sick leave with full pay, computed upon a basis of 0.216 of a twenty-four-hour duty shift for each biweekly period of service with the city to yield 5.6 twenty-four-hour duty shifts annually.
