Whenever the city council delegates the management operation, maintenance and regulation of any museum or art gallery as authorized by Section 2.56.020, the following requirements shall apply:

A. All members of the public shall be admitted to the gallery or museum at reasonable times, which times shall be specifically set forth in an agreement approved by the city council;

B. No charges for admission to the gallery or museum shall be made other than such charges as may be determined to be necessary to defray the cost of operation and maintenance of the gallery or museum; all accounts and financial records relating to the operation, management or maintenance of the gallery or museum shall be subject to such inspection and audit as may be directed by the council;

C. Policies governing the management, operation, maintenance or regulation of the gallery or museum shall be consistent with the lease agreement approved by the council. (Ord. 3247 § 1, 1989; prior code § 5.28.030)
