A. There is created a city department of recreation and parks.

B. The department of recreation and parks shall be under the supervision and direction of a director of recreation and parks who shall be appointed by the city manager.

C. Under the direct supervision of the director of recreation and parks, all regular employees of the department of recreation and parks shall maintain their existing titles and civil service status. (Ord. 3852, 1998)
