A. There is created the office of finance director who shall be appointed by the city manager.

B. Pursuant to Section 39 of the City Charter, the finance director is the auditor-controller and in accordance with said section shall perform the duties of auditor and treasurer, in addition to those set forth in this chapter. (Ord. 3006 §§ 1, 2, 1985; Ord. 2782 § 1, 1982; prior code § 1.54.010)
