The minimum lot frontage shall be not less than eighty feet on a standard street or forty feet on a cul-de-sac or flag lot: provided, however, that a lot with less frontage than herein required shall be permitted if a description of said lot was recorded as a separate lot in the office of the county recorder prior to the time of the enactment of the ordinance codified in this section.
