Where any provision of this title imposes more stringent requirements, regulations, restrictions or limitations than are imposed or required by the provisions of any other law or ordinance, then the provisions of this title shall govern; provided, however, that where a subdivision has been approved by the planning commission and the city council under the provisions of Chapter 16.36 of this code, then the approved standards for streets and highways, alleys, easements, blocks, lots, yards, pedestrian ways and access shall be considered as requirements of the zoning ordinance.
