A. The traffic authority is authorized to establish bus zones directly opposite curb space for the loading and unloading of buses or common carriers of passengers engaged in local transportation and to determine the location thereof.

B. The city traffic authority shall designate bus zones by painting the curb red or by placing and maintaining appropriate signage.

C. It is unlawful for the operator of any vehicle except a bus or a common carrier of passengers engaged in local transportation to stop, stand or park said vehicle in a bus zone. (Ord. 4663 § 1, 2012; prior code § 11.04.560)
