A. The traffic authority may erect and maintain signs at any intersection prohibiting the making of left turns by drivers of vehicles whenever said traffic authority determines that such left turns would cause traffic congestion or traffic hazard. The making of such left turns may be prohibited between certain hours of any day and permitted at other hours in which event the same shall be plainly indicated on the signs erected by said traffic authority.

B. When authorized signs are erected giving notice thereof, no vehicle shall be turned to the left in violation of the directions contained on said signs. (Prior code § 11.04.130)
