A. Whenever the traffic authority designates and describes any street or portion thereof as a through street or any intersection to which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, he is authorized to and may erect and maintain or cause to be erected and maintained, stop signs at those entrances of intersections where a stop is required.

B. All such signs shall conform as to location and type, with the pertinent requirements of the Vehicle Code. (Prior code § 11.04.190)
