Any person failing to obey the command of a subpoena served upon him as provided in Section 1.24.050, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine in a sum not exceeding one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than ten days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
